Hearts and Hands
Guided by God’s love, the mission of Heart and Hands Ministry is to extend the healing grace of Jesus Christ by providing compassionate presence, by loving boldly and by serving joyfully.
Home / Residential Visits
Our Hearts and Hands visitation team provides a bridge to residents in local homes and assisted living facilities, keeping them connected to our church. Whether it is sharing a friendly conversation, praying together, sharing communion or simply listening, our mission is to deliver a bright spot of "sunshine" and a reminder that they are deeply cared for and never alone. If you want to request a visit for yourself or a loved one, please call the church office 479-442-4237 or
Hospital Visits
People who are hospitalized and have notified the church that they are in the hospital, are visited by a dedicated group of volunteers and by the ministerial staff. In addition, you may request post-hospitalization home visits during your recovery from a Hearts and Hands team member. If you would like a visit while in the hospital, please call the church at 479-442-4237 or email
Hospice Visits
People who have entered hospice and have notified the church will be visited by our Hearts and Hands group or a Minister. If you would like a visit while in the hospice, please call the church at 479-442-4237 or email
Card Ministry
The Hearts and Hands card writing ministry team sends personal notes and cards to church friends for birthday celebrations, get well wishes, and other occasions to remind them how much they are thought of and loved.
Flower Ministry
When altar flowers are donated, after worship the flowers are delivered by the Flowers of Love team to distribute to residential homes in our community.
Grief Resources Ministry
Our caring team members provide comforting, practical resources to those who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
Prayer Bead / Prayer Shawl Ministry
Hearts and Hands team members give shawls as gifts to the people we visit. These shawls are lovingly knitted/crocheted by the Stitch ‘N Pray UWF group. Prayer beads are made by our group and are given with love to the friends we visit. The beads are a physical reminder of God’s presence.
